The short, honest version.

Last updated November 5, 2026. These terms govern your use of Penny Canvas (the “Service”), operated by Penny Canvas (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service is a shared, public pixel canvas. Any registered user may change the colour of any pixel at any time. Pixels are not owned, reserved or guaranteed to persist. Everything you place is public and may be modified or removed by other users or by us.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 where required by local law). Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that break the canvas rules, use automation, or abuse payments.

3. Credits and payments

Credits are a prepaid licence to place pixels on the Service. One credit places one pixel. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, do not expire, and are not a currency or deposit. Prices are shown in US dollars and payments are processed by PayPal under PayPal's own terms. Refunds are described in the refund policy. Free credits granted by promotions (welcome bonus, free timer pixels) may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

4. Content

You keep whatever rights you have in images you recreate, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, snapshot and reproduce the canvas, including your contributions, in any medium (for example, timelapses and social previews). You must not place content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, harassing, or that infringes others' rights.

5. Moderation

We may revert pixels and suspend accounts at our discretion to enforce these terms. Suspended accounts forfeit remaining credits.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change the canvas size, pricing, features or these terms. We may discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice, during which unused purchased credits can be refunded on request.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of , and disputes go to the courts there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU/UK you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by buying credits and using them you ask us to deliver immediately and acknowledge that credits already spent cannot be refunded (see the refund policy for what can).
